Construction Updates

April 29, 2016

No construction is expected for this weekend although signals may be in place for one way traffic.  Slight delays at the signals are possible this weekend.
Continue to expect construction delays similar to this week for work continuing next week.  Delays are generally less than 10 minutes and will not exceed 30 minutes.  Work may occur in multiple locations next week.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the condition of the roadway.

With the weather setbacks early this week, our schedule will include construction work this weekend on both Saturday (4/23) and Sunday (4/24). Possible delays may be up to 30 minutes, but actual delays will likely be similar to the 10-15 minute delays experienced last week. One change to the operation is the possibility of using a signal and one lane traffic at night. The signal location will be between Canyon View Lane and Ski View Lane and will not have anyone’s driveway within the zone. 2 way traffic is our goal each night, but please be prepared for the signal system at night if necessary.

This is a construction advisory based on the weather forecast. The forecast is unsettled with possible rain and snow beginning this afternoon through Thursday. Rain and snow will cause sloppy conditions with our construction operations. We will work as much as the weather allows and continue to maintain the roadway through the wet forecast. Delays this week will continue as yesterday with longer delays possible if wet weather causes extra maintenance.

Conditions won’t be very good if we get a lot of rain. This week will not be the time for the Harley’s or the classic cars to come out of the garage and travel through this construction zone. Please keep the forecast and the road conditions in mind when making plans for your commute this week. Thank you for your patience.
