COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS        

December 18, 2017

Commissioners Doug Tucker, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners regarding radio communications. The Forest Service is installing a new radio repeater on Wapiti Mountain to extend radio coverage in the Beartooth Mountains. Tom recommends County put equipment in the tower to increase coverage; this would be completely independent from Simulcast.

9:00 RJ Slaven met with Commissioners regarding Red Lodge Cr. Rd. Commissioner Bullock noted they are trying to coordinate repairs with MDT’s Hwy 212 projects; will most likely try to get by another year with dust control.

9:15 Commissioner Bullock moved to approve the Lease Agreement with State Motor Vehicle Division pending approval by the County Attorney; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Tucker noted Sheryl Ann Construction still has not started crushing gravel; he has not been able to reach the company for an updated status.

Scott Boggio met with Commissioners regarding Floodplain Regulations and 2017-2018 Budget. Angela referred him to the website.

Commissioners received a phone call from DPHHS notifying them Office of Public Assistance and Adult Protective Services offices will be closed.

10:00 DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners regarding the Big Horn Co Wyoming Fire Dist. #5 Mutual Aid and Emergency Services Agreement. Would allow calls south of the viaduct to be directly dispatched to Frannie; historically have paged Bridger first. Commissioner Bullock moved to approve Mutual Aid and Emergency Services Agreement with Big Horn Co WY Fire Dist. #5; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried
