COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS       

          June 1, 2015

          Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and John Prinkki were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.

          9:00 Clerk and Recorder Marcia Henigman met with Commissioners to determine appraised values for County land to sell at auction. Commissioner Tucker moved to set land value at $500/ acre for parcel described as S33, T09 S, R25 E, NE4SW4, NW4SE4 80 ACRES; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.         Commissioners will have parcel in Red Lodge described as RED LODGE ORIGINAL TOWNSITE, S27, T07 S, R20 E, RLOP ALL BLK 22 formally appraised and advertise both parcels for auction.

          9:40 Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Clerk and Recorder Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for May 2015; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

          Commissioner Tucker moved to accept the Treasurer’s Cash report for May 2015; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

          Commissioners approved line item budget transfer requests from Sheriff Josh McQuillan and Road Superintendent Shawn Mains.

          10:00 Commissioner Grewell moved to accept revised Time Tracking / Preparation of Payroll Policy; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

          11:00 Joe Johnson, Gordie Hill, Pam Christ, Justice of the Peace Kevin Nichols, County Attorney Alex Nixon met with Commissioners for Compensation Board Public Hearings. Sheriff Josh McQuillan was also present. Citizen members of the Compensation Board met and recommended a 4.5% increase for elected officials salaries (CPI 1.6% + 2.9% raise = 4.5%); the remaining members of the Compensation Board concurred with the recommendation. Commissioner Tucker moved to accept recommendation of Compensation board for a 4.5% increase to elected officials base salaries; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.
