Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and John Prinkki were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners regarding sale of old repeater cabinets. Industrial has provided a cost estimate to assemble the cabinets to prepare them for sale. Tom believes the $1,600 to assemble them is worth approximately $11,000 in equipment.

Tammy Barsted accepted Fairgrounds maintenance position.

8:50 Ervin and Hannelore Sharbono, Clair Witcomb, Lonnie Turner, Annette Anderson met with Commissioners for the Public Hearing to adopt the Development Regulations at 9:00.

8:50 Contract County Attorney Jacque Papez met with Commissioners.

The meeting was closed to discuss litigation

9:30 The Commissioners reopened the meeting to the Public.

Susan Beug, Julie Holzer, Jerry Brekhus, Becky Grey, Susan Elliott, Shar McComas, Katy Kern, Ervin and Hannelore Sharbono, Lonnie Turner, Deborah Muth, Steve Muth, Beth Williams, Tom Tschida, Carol Nash, and Cameron Clevidence met with Commissioners for the Public hearing regarding the Resolution of Intent to adopt updated Development Regulations. Jacque Papez, Brent Moore, Monica Plecker were also present. Brent Moore gave an overview of the process in updating Growth Policy and Development Regulations. Monica gave an overview of the updated regulations. Commissioner Grewell discussed provisions regarding Animal Feed Lots; Monica clarified that the intent of the provisions are to address commercial feed lots. John Prinkki wanted to review rationale for residential development permits. Brent noted Board reviewed process and required permits for building a house and wanted to provide guidance for landowners so the process is open and apparent. Commissioner Grewell suggested that road priority be part of application. Commissioner Prinkki also asked about road signage on the Hwy 212 corridor. Monica noted meeting with MDT; the proposed development regulations are slightly more stringent for signs than MDT on sign area, lights and animation. The session was opened up for Public comment.

Susan Beug thanked the Commissioners for considering adopting regulations that will protect way of life from oil & gas industry.

Commissioner Grewell moved to approve the Resolution of Intent to Adopt the Development Regulations as presented; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

10:00 No asphalt Bids were received.

Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Commissioners proceedings for May 5, 9, 16 and 19 as presented; Commissioner Prinkki seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Tucker moved to accept District Court Fine & Fees Summary, Fees Distribution Report, and Fine Distribution Report for May 2016; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Clerk & Recorder Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for May 2016; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Treasurer Cash Report for May 2016; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Grewell moved to adopt Resolution 2016-12 to Amend the 2015-2016 Budget; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

Commissioners signed Resolution 2016-10 Adopting Elected Official Salaries for the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year.

11:00 Angela reviewed MACo Safety Inspection with Commissioners. As a reminder was not sent, no other members of the Safety committee were in attendance.

11:30 Commissioners discussed maintenance and capital improvement items for the upcoming budget year. Tom Kohley was present. Tom Kohley discussed meeting with employees of the Personal Services Building who had security concerns regarding notifications and building entrances.
