Brent Moore and County Attorney Alex Nixon were also present. The County has been receiving more and more pressure to increase maintenance on the East Rosebud Road. Commissioners decided to cease maintenance of the road at the June 8, 2015 meeting as the portion below the Sandford Bridge is not a County road and there are a number of sections where no easement has been granted. Work was done in the past to try to establish a road improvement district. The Department of Revenue is gathering information to determine the tax impacts for residents of establishing a special road improvement district. Landowners will arrange a meeting amongst themselves to determine why landowners will not grant easements.

11:00 Sheriff Josh McQuillan met with Commissioners regarding Interlocal Agreement with Town of Joliet. Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Interlocal Agreement for Law Enforcement Services between Carbon County and the Town of Joliet; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.
