Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan 2019 Revision (Public Draft)
Would you like to learn more about what Carbon County is doing to minimize the impacts of floods, wildfires, winter storms and other hazards? A draft of the County’s updated Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan is provided below for public review and comment (through January 31, 2020). The plan details the risk that multiple hazards pose to the County, Town of Bearcreek, Town of Bridger, Town of Fromberg, Town of Joliet, and the City of Red Lodge and identifies strategies intended to reduce future losses from these hazards. The planning committee is now soliciting public comment on the plan before it is finalized and submitted for FEMA review and approval.
