Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and Bill Bullock and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

Peter Italiano City of Red Lodge Community Development Director met with Commissioners regarding deannexation of the County Fairgrounds. Peter reviewed comments the City has received (see attached).

9:00 Commissioner Grewell move to accept on-call engineering services agreement with GreatWest Engineering; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.

9:30 Weed District Coordinator Brian Ostwald met with Commissioners regarding grant agreements.

The Southern Cooney cost share grant is in the amount of $44,637 and provides cost sharing funds for landowners in area with greater than 20 acres. Commissioner Grewell moved to accept the Southern Cooney Cost Share Grant Agreement; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.

The Western Carbon cost share grant is in the amount of $55,000 and provides cost sharing fund for landowners in the area with more than 100 acres. Commissioner Bullock moved to approve Western Carbon Cost Share Agreement; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

Brian noted he anticipates another $6,000 in weed control a year if the East Rosebud Road is adopted; there are a lot of compliance issues along the road.

Commissioner Grewell moved approval of the March 16, 20, and 21, 2017 meeting minutes; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
