COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Scott Miller and Bill Bullock; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Bullock moved to revise personnel policy to address inclement weather absences for probationary employees; Miller seconded; motion carried.
9:00 Commissioner Scott Blain called in. Blain moved to allocate 50% of the County’s Alcohol Tax revenues to the Mental Health Center and 50% to Alternatives; Miller seconded; motion carried.
Discussed snow plowing with the significant winds. Miller’s crew moved some snow this morning, but with the wind it is an effort in futility; they will only be going out for emergency travel. With all schools in county canceled, Commissioners enacted the Severe Weather policy to limit snow plowing because of high winds.
10:00 Commissioner Bill Bullock took a phone call from Mary Moser regarding the meeting on May 24th regarding election integrity. Bullock requested the meeting be limited to the typical ½ hour time slot and limited to Montana election issues; Bullock noted issues in other states are not relevant.
Miller moved to approve employee time as submitted; Bullock seconded motion carried.
