COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS        

          April 14, 2016

          Commissioners Doug Tucker and John Grewell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegence.

Commissioners received a letter of resignation from Kevin Weimer for his position on the Carbon County Fair Board.

Jacque Papez met with Commissioners to request road closed signs be taken down on Dry Creek Road.

9:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon met with Commissioners. They discussed the Mud Springs Wind Project Impact Fee Agreement; Deputy Jacque Papez is finalizing the contract language based on Monday’s meeting. They also dscussed emails from Mayor Ed Williams requesting a private meeting with Commissioner Prinkki to discuss the County Attorney and Sheriff’s interference in City Business. Commissioner Prinkki informed Mayor Williams that he would need to bring his concerns before the whole commission.

9:30 Warene Wall met with Commissioners for her update as County representative on the City of Red Lodge Planning Board. The new Growth Policy is now in effect; the changes focused on being more business friendly and providing flexibility in complying with zoning regulations. The updates have been reflected in an update to the Zoning Plan which has been approved by the Planning Board and recommended for approval by the City Council. Warene also updated the Commissioners on Yellow Ribbon Community activities and the support they have given to veterans and their families over the last year.

10:30 Deputy Clerk and Recorder Christine Stovall met with Commissioners regarding implementing an application for indigent burial funds.

10:35 West Fork Road Project Engineer Jason Han met with Commissioners.

12:00 Board of Health Meeting. Becky Frank moved to approve January 21, 2016 Board of Health meeting minutes; Doug Tucker second; motion carried.
