Commissioners Doug Tucker and John Grewell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Tucker moved to accept District Court Cash Balance Report for March 2015; Commissioner Grewell second; motion carried.
Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Clerk & Recorder Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for March 2015; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Treasurer Cash Report for March 2015; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.
Ken Adams and John Link from the Tipi Village Property Owners Association (POA) met with Commissioners to discuss the request to Tipi Village for a permanent easement for West Fork Road reconstruction project. The POA will require a super majority of membership to approve the easement and would like more detailed information. They left a counter agreement for the Commissioners to consider and believe if the County agrees to the changes it will be approved by the members of the POA.
9:20 County Attorney Alex Nixon met with Commissioners to discuss County Business. They discussed the City of Red Lodge’s desire for the County to construct its own jail. They also discussed the Town of Joliet’s request for the Sheriff’s Office to provide law enforcement for the town.
Disaster and Emergency Services Coordinator Darrel Krum met with Commissioners regarding reimbursements for dozer operator and equipment time for West Fork Fire.
10:00 Commissioner Grewell moved to postpone the MT Forest Coalition of Forest Counties Dues approval until Monday when Commissioner Prinkki is present to discuss the benefit to Carbon County tax payers; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.
