COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
April 22, 2021

Commissioners Scott Blain, Bill Bullock and Scott Miller; Administrative Officer Angela Newell; and Commissioners’ Secretary Barbara Krizek were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioners attended a meeting of the Detention Facility Citizen Advisory Committee last evening; the minutes from the Committee’s March 31 meeting were approved (see attached).

Commissioners reviewed and discussed road maintenance worker applications.

Commissioners discussed the County and Tribal Matching Mental Health Grant Application.

9:30 Red Lodge Mayor Bill Larson met with Commissioners for his weekly meeting. Larson noted Kelly Heaton has been selected as the newest council member; the City has a notice out for legal services, Larson was not sure if the position would be contracted or if they would continue to employ a full-time employee. Discussed Two Mile Bridge area flooding issues; Bullock reported the Stouts have hired Engineering West and Jody Klessens to address issues in the Woodlands Subdivision. Discussion regarding Recovery Act Funds and opportunities on how to best leverage the funds.

Blain moved to approve Commissioners’ Proceedings for March 30th and April 1st; Bullock seconded; motion carried.

Sanitarian Cortney Lynde met with Commissioners regarding the Kampher septic permit. There is no record of a road easement for the section of Selms Road on Mr. Kampher’s property; discussion that the septic approval should be under the County’s jurisdiction.
