COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and Bill Bullock and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance
Lisa Sukut AGA Architects met with Commissioners regarding Request for Proposals for On-call Architect Services.
9:00 Compensation Board Public Hearing. Compensation Board members Joe Johnson, Pam Crist, Gordon Hill, Clerk and Recorder Marcia Henigman, Clerk of District Court Rochelle Loyning, and Alex Nixon were present. The three public board members adjourned to discuss the salary increase.
10:00 Commissioner Grewell moved approval of Alternatives Purchase of Service Contract; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
10:05 Public members of the Compensation Board rejoined the meeting. They noted their concerns regarding the financial highlights on County expenditures and revenues. The public members of the board recommend 2.1% increase which was the average of their individual recommendations. Commissioner Grewell moved to approve a 1.3% CPI increase and .7% raise for a total increase of 2%; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
10:15 Tim Jager and Karen Kelly from ARETE Design Group met with Commissioners regarding Request for Proposals for On-call Architect Services.
10:30 Commissioner Grewell moved to designate County Earmarked Alcohol Tax Money to Journey Recovery Services; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
