COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
August 22, 2019
Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance
9:15 Commissioner DeArmond left the meeting to meet with MDT regarding the Chance Road Bridge.
9:30 Commissioner Bullock moved to approved Resolution 2019-12 Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget Amendment for additional Homeland Security Grant revenues and expenditures; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried. It was noted an amendment for Red Lodge Fire’s ambulance purchase was not necessary as they did not exceed the level of their appropriation plus cash reserves.
10:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon and Deputy County attorney Shannon Foley met with Commissioners. Discussed realignment of West Pryor Road. Alex recommended Commissioners refer the issue to Jacque Papez to draft a new easement. Commissioner Blain also noted he has discussed new easements with the landowner on Mathes Road and owner seems agreeable to allowing the County to purchase an additional 10-foot easement to better accommodate the current alignment of the road; Commissioner Blain will contact Red Lodge Surveying to prepare a survey. Regarding the dogs, Shannon noted she has set a deadline for next Friday for the owner to choose deferred sentence rather than filing charges.
12:00 Adjourned

Respectfully submitted: Angela Newell, Administrative Officer
