COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS        

          August 31, 2015

          Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and John Prinkki were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.

          8:30 Treasurer Jane Swanson-Webb and Lori Kane met with Commissioners for final school budgets. Commissioner Grewell moved to approve school budgets as presented for fiscal year 2015-2016; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

          Commissioner Grewell moved to approve Sheriff Josh McQuillan’s request to use Indigent Burial Funds for the cremation of Harold Joe Siefke; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

          10:00 Janna Wittenberg met with Commissioners regarding tax refund on parcel described as NW¼ NW¼ S15, T9S, R25E. Commissioner Grewell moved to order the refund of property taxes to Michael Fredrick on parcel described as NW¼ NW¼ S15, T9S, R25E, which does not exist, for a period of five (5) years as allowed under MCA 15-16-603; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

          Commissioner Grewell moved to reappoint John Prinkki as the Commissioners’ representative on the Alternatives Advisory Board to another three year term; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

          11:00 Commissioners participated in the fire restrictions conference call. Carbon County will remain in Stage 1 Fire Restrictions.
