Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock; were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
0900; Kate Asbury came in to discuss sick leave policy, it was discussed, discussion was to justify with either sick or vacation, also bring forward a MOU with CBA…Blain moved, Bullock seconded, unanimous vote for approval.
Admin Officer Angela Newell joined meeting.
9:30 Tracey Timmons and Eric Allen from the Red Lodge Area Community Foundation, and Disaster and Emergency Services (DES) Coordinator Cyrina Allen, met with Commissioners to discuss a case management grant. They have outside funding to provide case management long term which would allow them to hire employees to help individuals navigate the various application processes. Discussion about whether or not the cost is Public Assistance (PA) Eligible. Newell’s discussion with PDMG was that case management services are not PA eligible expense. Timmons noted they will need a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the County authorizing the services, but there will be no cost to the County. Timmons noted in the hiring process applicants go through a stringent background check process so they can access sensitive information. Blain moved to approved the MOU pending the approval of language by County Attorney; Miller seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners discussed emails from Vicky Davis, Ilsa Dawson, and Gail Beauchamp requesting to place recreational marijuana back on the ballot; Commissioners confirmed that per the June 9th meeting, they will not reconsider the issue until a valid petition is received in accordance with the petition process in the Election statutes. Also discussed the petitioners soliciting signatures at the County Fair in violation of the no soliciting policy.
10:00 Blain moved to open public meeting for 2020-2021 Budget Amendment Public Hearing. Public Hearing Closed. Blain moved to adopt Resolution 2022-17; Miller seconded; motion carried.
Blain moved to open public meeting for 2021-2022 Budget Amendment Public Hearing. Public Hearing Closed. Blain moved to adopt Resolution 2022-18; Miller seconded; motion carried.
Blain moved to accept the Justice Court End of Period Disbursement for July 2022; Bullock seconded; motion carried.
