COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and John Prinkki attending a meeting in Helena with representatives of the Dept. of Commerce about Treasure State Endowment Program funding for 2017. Carbon County had one bridge on the list of bridges to be considered for funding state wide. Five bridges were selected to be funded and ours ranked 6th overall. It was explained to us that more support letters, the actual closing of our bridge, and the fact that this is an alternative route to Highway 72 in the event that the slide area moves give the bridge potential for funding depending on the legislature. Bill Lloyd was present to represent Great West Engineering.
