COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS        

December 22, 2016

Commissioners Doug Tucker and John Grewell and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Justice Court End of Period Disbursements report for November 2016; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

Commissioners received a letter of resignation from Dennis Purcell as the Red Lodge District representative on the Carbon County Fair Board. His term was set to expire December 31, 2017.

Commissioners received letter of resignation from Nancy Cooper as a County representative on the Historic Preservation Commission. Her term was set to expire December 31, 2018.

9:00 Civil Deputy County Attorney Jacque Papez met with Commissioners. They discussed continual requests for plowing a road from a gentleman on oxygen who has called in complaining that road not plowed. Commissioner Grewell noted because of the location of the road it drifts in shortly after being plowed. The plow driver has been logging when the road is plowed with Sheriff Dispatch.

10:30 DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners regarding an agreement formalizing service rates with Industrial Communications that includes a negotiated rate for overtime after hour calls.

Commissioner Tucker moved to accept revised Election Administrative Clerk job description including changing the revised position to full-time; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Grewell moved to accept Simulcast Radio System Equipment Support and Service Agreement with Industrial Communications; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.
