Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock were present.

Public comment…stillwater county as backup for our sanitarian purposes
—bullock spoke with Bart at Bank of RL this morning…he needed and got county tax id to finalize loan for radio system, confirmed that PO Blain would sign the loan documents Thursday, the check in the total of the loan will be delivered payable to Carbon County Treasurer on the 13th of February. The first payment due the bank will be due the 1st of August 2019.

9:00 Commissioners discussed personnel policy revisions.

10:00 Sanitarian hiring update. Sanitarian Assistant Lori Kane and Sanitarian in training Cortney Lynde met with Commissioners regarding planning for Cortney’s training and transition. Lori noted Riverstone Health is willing to assist in training with an initial focus on food, health, and safety; there may be grant money available for job shadowing. Commissioners emphasized getting Cortney’s application for sanitarian in training submitted; a model sanitarian in training program was located from Liberty County and Commissioners suggested that be followed.

10:20 Administrative Officer Angela Newell joined the meeting.

10:30 DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners for his monthly update. Tom received a call from FEMA regarding what is required for reimbursement. They will be scheduling a scoping meeting soon. Tom and Commissioners discussed the Bridger Radio Tower quotes. Morgan Contractors was selected as their quote was $7,000 less than the next lowest quote.

Commissioner Bullock moved to approve employee time as submitted; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried.

11:45 Commissioner Bullock moved to approve District Court Fines and Fees reports for January 2019; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Bullock moved to approve Treasurer’s Cash report for January 2019; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried.
