COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
February 5, 2018
Commissioners Doug Tucker and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance
Gordon Sirrine was present.
9:00 Commissioner Tucker moved to accept the District Court Report and Clerk and Recorder report for January 2018; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
10:00 Commissioner Scott Blain joined the meeting.
10:00 Clerk and Recorder Marcia Henigman and Sanitarian Assistant Lori Kane met with Commissioners. They discussed opening the ImageSilo digital records system to public. Currently, copies of septic permits and DEQ Certificates of Subdivision Approval are only available through a records request or on the Clerk and Recorder’s public computers. Commissioners agreed there are advantages to making the system public.
10:30 DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners for his monthly report (attached). He is looking at grant funding to combine the Emergency Operations Plan, Pre-disaster Mitigation Plan, Community Wildfire Protection Plan, and Resource List into an interactive web map. Also discussed a table top exercise for department heads to review evacuation/emergency procedures and policies.
Commissioner Blain moved to approve commissioner Proceedings for January 8, 2018; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Tom Kohley met with Commissioners representing Beartooth Recreational Trails Association (BRTA) regarding bicycle safety on West Fork Road. BRTA would like to purchase signs notifying drivers about bicycle traffic if the road department could install them. Commissioner Bullock will work with his Foreman on sign locations.
Commissioner Tucker moved to approve employee time for January 21 – February 3, 2018; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
