Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Bullock moved to approve claims for special check run for COBRA Payments; Blain seconded; motion carried.
9:00 Blain moved to close the meeting for an HR discussion; Bullock seconded; motion carried. 9:30 Meeting reopened.
Westwood met for a regular City meeting. Discussion of Water Fees, can administratively waive one month (approx. $300) and is using discretion to waive the remainder believes warranted as the County did not charge late fees for delinquent Airport payments. A new Public Works employee should be in on Friday for meat and greet. The Planning Director declined because of wages, and Westwood is looking at the possibility of negotiating wages or reopening the position. Noted has had a conversation with Rodeo President Nardinger; and discussed a resolution to apply an additional cost for additional police requests for events. Discussed Tuesday’s meeting for Airport Interlocal. Junction 7 has requested that County employees not park in front of their building to help keep the parking open for their customers.
Geospatial Information Systems Coordinator / Fire Warden Tom Kohley met regarding Federal Fire Protection (FFP) equipment; the reimbursement for equipment for fire districts, and splitting shipping costs. Bullock moved to approve splitting shipping costs with fire districts, Blain seconded; motion carried. Discussed adding a backhoe and bucket loader to the FFP list.
Discussed Tom Kohley’s request to alter his regular schedule to be 8:30-5:30 M-F. Commissioners approved a permanent schedule change.
11:00 Miller departed to attend a Beartooth RC&D meeting in Billings.
