Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Mental Health Center Secretary Mary Cameron met with Commissioners to inform them counselor Summer Peterson is going into private practice and has given her two weeks’ notice. There are two local applicants for the position.
DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley, Sheriff Josh McQuillan, and Deputy DES Coord. Annie Gillespie met with Commissioners to discuss the incident at the court house on Tuesday where an individual intentionally drove into the building and threatened to kill people and burn the building down.
9:00 Contract Sanitarian Travis West and Sanitarian Assistant Lori Kane met with Commissioners regarding DEQ applications. There are a couple of projects that Engineering West has submitted that Travis cannot review. Travis noted Josh Juarez or Barb Kennery would both be willing to perform the DEQ reviews for Engineering West’s projects. Commissioners would like to see how interviews go today before making a decision. Lori noted she discussed licensed establishment inspections with the State and they cannot provide any assistance.
9:30 Andy Simpson Sanitarian Interview. Travis West and Lori Kane were present.
10:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon and Deputy County Attorney Shannon Foley met with Commissioners. They discussed the City of Red Lodge’s position regarding prisoner transports. Commissioner Bullock moved to adopt 2019-01 Prosecutorial Assistance for State v. DeVries; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried.
10:30 Cortney Lynde Sanitarian Interview. Travis West and Lori Kane were present.
11:00 Andrew Regan Sanitarian Interview. Travis West and Lori Kane were present.

1:00 Stephanie Moodry Sanitarian Interview. Travis West and Lori Kane were present.
2:30 Commissioner Bullock moved hiring Cortney Lynde as probationary sanitarian in training; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried unanimously.
