9:30 Red Lodge Mayor Kristen Cogswell met with Commissioners for the City’s regular appointment. Discussed garbage and options for possible transfer station in County; Bullock noted current regulations that require collectors to go to all residences because there is no transfer station. The City is exploring locations for tourist trash dumping; considering the recycling center. Blain noted challenges with unmanned station at Pryor. Miller has asked in Bridger and there are not concerns about the lack of a dump location in county. Bullock noted the effects of tourist traffic in and around Red Lodge. Blain noted rural residents would likely be happy to pay more for pickup service rather than having to haul their own garbage. Bullock suggested that a roll off be placed at the City Shop. Discussed fuels mitigation and commercial timber harvest and specifically the Greater Red Lodge Area logging project. Cogswell was unsure if she would like to take a side in the current litigation.
10:30 Road Department Interview
10:45 County Attorney Alex Nixon met for his regular meeting. Discussion regarding Indigent Burial Application; noted non-resident, but were unable to find anyone for next of kin. Nixon is confident that there will be enough property to recoup cremation costs.

12:00 Adjourned.
