COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS        

July 25, 2016

Commissioners Doug Tucker and John Grewell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

8:45 Matt Heaton & Eric Bechtold from RDO Equipment met with Commissioners to discuss upcoming road equipment bids.

8:55 Road and Bridge Superintendent David Ohnstad joined the meeting.

David and Commissioners discussed road crew fire response and responding to out of County fires; they will work toward establishing a protocol for sending county equipment to out of County fires. Also discussed damage to bridge from motor vehicle accident; David has sent information to the County attorney and plans to invoice the driver’s insurance company for restitution. David will also ask Sheriff to note on citations involving county assets to request restitution. David discussed the Red Lodge Creek Road Bridge TSEP project and options to bring down the cost of the bridge replacement; the project was bid over the engineer’s estimate.

Commissioner Grewell moved to approve claims for July early check run; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

Commissioners approved employee time for July 10 – 23.
