COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Bill Bullock and Scott Miller; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
9:00 Hulteng Inc.’s Shane Swandal met with Commissioners to discuss the detention RFP Award process for the 11:00 agenda item.
9:46 Clerk and Recorder Christine Stovall and Deputy Macque Bohleen met with Commissioners to discuss title work quotes for tax deeds. One quote was received from First Montana Title in the amount of $175 per assessment code. Miller moved to accept the quote from First Montana Title for a total of $350 for the two Tax Deed properties; Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Miller moved to approve Commissioners Proceedings for June 29, 2021; Bullock seconded; motion carried.
11:00 Swandal rejoined the meeting. Miller moved to accept the Carbon County Detention Facility Final Design Request for Qualifications review committee’s ranking recommendation and to enter into negotiations with Slate Architecture; Bullock seconded; motion carried. Newell will contact firms via phone and in writing.
