Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Mike Keys joined the meeting.
9:00 Public Health Director Erin Cross met with Commissioners for her monthly update (attached). Temporary Sanitarian Scott Vandell was in attendance and discussed coordination between Environmental Health and Public Health regarding restaurant and public accommodation complaints.
9:30 Red Lodge Mayor Kristen Cogswell met with Commissioners for her regular appointment. Brent Moore of Interstate Engineering was in attendance. Discussion about various flood response projects and what components are which entities legal responsibility.
10:00 Stovall met regarding requested raises. Blain moved to approve raise increases for Helmuth and Roascio; Miller seconded; motion carried.
10:30 Clerk and Recorder Christine Stovall and Deputy Clerk and Recorder Macque Bohleen met with Commissioners regarding Stovall’s resignation effective at midnight Saturday July 9, 2022. Discussion regarding the designated Registrar with State Vital Statistics; the Registrar can only be changed at the first of the month and was changed to Bohleen July 1, 2022. Discussion regarding training, seniority of deputies, MCA provisions for an interim appointment, and office continuity. Blain moved to appoint Macque Bohleen as Interim Clerk and Recorder effective July 10, 2022 at 0001; Miller seconded; motion carried.
Miller moved to approve minutes for July 19, 24, 25, and 26, 2022; Blain seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners approved requested wage increase for Sanitarian Barbara Krizek.
Miller moved to accept Clerk and Recorder, Treasurer, and District Court monthly reports; Bullock seconded; motion carried.
