Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond and Bill Bullock; Angela Newell, Administrative Officer; and Barbara Daniel, Commissioners’ Secretary were present. Commissioner Blain absent.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance
Commissioners discussed why an archaeological survey was required for the Pryor Mountain Road Bridge improvement. US Army Corps of Engineers correspondence states that since the bridge had not been previously recorded, the State Historic Preservation Office requires that a survey be done if the structure is altered.
Commissioner Bullock moved to approved Commissioners’ Proceedings for February 27th; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried.
9:30 DES Coordinator Tom Kohley joined the meeting. Discussion about yesterday’s COVID-19 Incident Management Team meeting where team members/roles were identified as well as objectives and tasks.
Kohley’s Fuel Tax Maps review moved to Thursday’s agenda.
9:50 Deputy DES Coordinator Annie Gillespie joined the meeting and discussed the potential for on-going issues in the floodplain next to Roberts.
11:00 Red Lodge City Council President Dave Westwood joined the meeting and discussed the City’s Resort Tax Resolution; the Council is set to vote tonight.
11:35 Clerk and Recorder Christine Stovall joined the meeting to discuss a claim for an indigent burial. Commissioner Bullock moved to approve the claim at the previous $1,810 contract rate; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner DeArmond moved to approve February claims as submitted; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
