Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Public Comment: Marc Brainard and Don Hartung from Eagle Point HOA met with Commissioners to discuss annexing their subdivision into the adjoining Herd District. Election Administrator Crystal Roascio joined to the meeting to discuss the petition that was submitted. The petition has sufficient signatures to move forward with a public hearing for the annexation; the hearing is scheduled for May 9th at 1300.
Carbon County Public Health Nurse Hailey DeMarois met to discuss the School Epinephrine and Narcan program. DeMarois will return at 1000 to discuss further.
The extension of the Roberts Water and Sewer Dist. Well Improvement Project Start-up Conditions was moved by Commissioner Bullock, seconded by Commissioner Blain, and all voted to approve the extension.
Clarks Fork Valley TV District Board Appointment. The member appointed to fill the vacancy is Jay Carter and a motion was made by Commissioner Scott Blain, seconded by Commissioner Bullock, and all voted to approve.
Marc Brainard, DeMarois, and Rural School Nurse Leslie Inderlend met to discuss the Epinephrine and Naloxone school program. They Interlocal Agreements have been reviewed and approved by the Deputy County Attorney; all three commissioners liked the program.
Employee Time was moved for approval by Commissioner Bullock, seconded by Commissioner Blain, and approved by all.
Motion to approve February 28, 2023 Commissioner Proceedings was made by Commissioner Bullock, seconded by Commissioner Blain, and approved by all.
1100 Extension Agents Carrie Krug and Kylie Butterfield met with Commissioners to discuss constructing some walls in the Extension office. Discussed maintenance of the County pickup and appropriate use of the vehicle vs. personal vehicle mileage.
PacificSource – Electronic Remittance and EFT Agreement. Motion to accept the agreement made by Commissioner Bullock, seconded by Commissioner Blain. The discussion regarding processing payments for Public Health and the need to ensure that we have quality control of the funds and that we do not have any issues with the funds being spent on things they are not supposed to be spent on.
