Commissioners Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
9:15 Pledge of Allegiance.
10:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon met for his regular weekly meeting. Nixon and the Commissioners discussed District Court files being stored in the County Attorney’s vault and the need for additional space. Also discussed was the letter from the Montana Association of Counties (MACo) regarding the veto override on Senate Bill 442 which distributes Marijuana taxes for road maintenance.
10:25 City of Red Lodge Mayor Dave Westwood met for his regular meeting. Discussion of Airport Interlocal, the Airport boundary and whether the roadways could be used for simplicity, Westwood also discussed the creation of the area north of the Rodeo Association property as City Park Land to ensure that land can continue to be used for event parking. Discussion of hanger construction, building codes for different zoning districts, and the park dedication for the Whistler Observatory.
Blain noted Quartz Construction has finished gravel crushing this week and is just waiting on Red Lodge Surveying to survey the gravel volume.
