COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS        

May 15, 2017

Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

Commissioners received notice of $750,000 Treasure State Endowment Program grant award for the reconstruction of the Chance Bridge.

9:00 Commissioner Bullock moved for the County to take over the easement and responsibility for clearing the drainage ditch and flood area in Roberts after the Montana Department of Transportation has completed a flood mitigation project; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.

Commissioners reviewed Administrative Assistant Angela Newell’s recommendations regarding Requests for Proposal for On-Call Architecture Services.  CTA Architects Engineers, Spectrum Group Architects, A&E Architects, and Schutz Foss Architects were recommended as they have experience in master planning, court house/court room construction and/or remodels, law enforcement buildings, and dispatch centers. Commissioner Tucker received a call from Yellowstone County Commissioners expressing frustration with work performed by Schutz Foss Architects. Commissioners requested they be removed from the final selection pool.

9:30 Commissioner Grewell moved to accept Department of Health and Human Services Emergency Preparedness Grant Agreement; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.

10:00 Commissioner Grewell moved approval of Peterson Quality Office Maintenance Agreement for KM4700 printer; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.

10:30 Commissioners approved employee time for April 30 – May 13.
