Commissioners Doug Tucker and John Grewell and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

Red Lodge Road District Foreman Eric Walker met with Commissioners to prepare the on-call list for the 2016-2017 snow plowing season.

9:30 DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners to discuss Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Memorandum of Agreement with FEMA. The County’s emergency alerts system only goes to landlines and those cell phone numbers that have voluntarily subscribed through Carbon Alert. The Agreement would allow the County to activate various alert systems including TV and the wireless emergency alerts system used by Amber Alerts. The enhanced emergency messaging is a component of the Homeland Security Grant. Commissioner Grewell moved to accept FEMA MOU; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

Tom and Commissioners also discussed the Montana Land Information Act (MLIA) grant and agreement with GeoData Services Inc. for training services. Commissioner Grewell moved to accept the GeoData Services Inc. Professional Services Agreement; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.
