COMMISSIONERS’ SPECIAL MEETING PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Doug Tucker, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.
9:00 Pledge of Allegiance
City of Red Lodge Mayor Mike Schoenike, Community Development Director Peter Italiano, Public Works Director Jim Bushnell, Dan Gainer, Dianne Dimich, Deputy County Attorney Shannon Foley, Civil Deputy Jacque Papez, and Gordon Sirrine were present. The special meeting was called to allow cemetery ownership issues to be resolved before the Red Lodge Cemetery District Referendum date could be ordered. Dan Gainer noted the Drapers have verbally accepted the City’s offer and will deed the property to the City. A written Agreement is expected to be ratified at tonight’s City Council meeting. Commissioner Blain moved to amend Resolution 2016-30 to hold the Red Lodge Cemetery District Referendum December 12, 2017 by mail ballot election; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners approved Justice of the Peace Kevin Nichols request to advertise the open Part-Time Clerk position in his office.
Commissioner Blain moved to accept District Court Fines and Fees Receipt Summary for September 2017; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Blain moved to accept Clerk and Recorder Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for September 2017; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Blain moved to accept Treasure’s Cash Report for September 2017; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
9:25 Meeting closed to discuss personnel issue. 9:30 Meeting reopened.
Commissioners signed a Lien Release for the Clearview Subdivision’s voluntary lien agreement recorded under Document No 356302.
Commissioners signed a Letter of Support for the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) Grant Application for improving the Beartooth Scenic Byway.
