COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
October 19, 2015
Commissioners John Grewell and John Prinkki were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
DES Coordinator Tom Kohley met with Commissioners regarding EMPG award acceptance. He also discussed the Simulcast Project as discussed at recent LEPC and Fire Council meetings. Issues seem to be resolved and the system has been stable for last two weeks. Also discussed issues with logging recorder for 911 dispatch; the current recorder is operating off of Windows XP and needs to be upgraded.
Road Superintendent Shawn Mains met with commissioners regarding road issues. He received a call from Pam Hall regarding a gate on Evertz Rd. The Commissioners confirmed that the County Road goes to the section line past the gate and that it is ok for North Western Energy to bring services past gate.
Commissioner Grewell moved to accept Clerk & Recorder Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for September 2015; Commissioner Prinkki seconded; motion carried.
After discussions with DES Director Tom Kohley, Sheriff Josh McQuillan, the LEPC, and Fire Council Commissioner Grewell moved to make final payment to Industrial Communications and Electronics for the Simulcast Project per contract; Commissioner Prinkki seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners discussed options for car port to house snow plowing equipment at Personal Services Building.
10:30 Brent Moore and Monica Plecker with CTA and Clerk & Recorder Marcia Henigman met with Commissioners to discuss switching to a long form for plats claiming exemption from Subdivision Regulations. CTA presented a memo regarding issues with the current form being used. Issues include that the current form is not the form adopted in the 2009 Subdivision Regulations. The long form will reduce CTA’s review time and cost by putting the burden of supporting documentation on the landowner and/or surveyor. Commissioners agree long form application is more appropriate.
Commissioner Grewell moved to approve meeting minutes for the evening of September 17, September 21-24, and September 28; Commissioner Prinkki seconded; motion carried.
