Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Attended windfarm meeting in Bridger
Commissioner Bullock noted on Monday night, the Montana Forest Action Advisory Council will be meeting in Red Lodge.
9:15 Robbie Heathcock met with Commissioners for the Commissioners’ Secretary interview.
10:00 Deputy County Attorney Shannon Foley met with Commissioners. Shannon discussed the Deveraux sentencing hearing yesterday; it was a very long day, but she believes the County was able to lay good groundwork for the sentencing as they expect an appeal. Commissioners discussed the revised rental agreement for Fair facilities; Shannon will review it for final adoption.
10:30 Marissa Pihl met with Commissioners for the Commissioners’ Secretary interview.
Clerk and Recorder Christine Stovall met with Commissioners regarding a utility easement in a portion of Whitehorse North Road that is being considered for abandonment. Commissioner Blain noted he is working with Yellowstone Valley Electric so they can get an easement secured with landowners out before the petition is submitted.
Commissioner Blain also note WBI Energy will be piping waste water; Commissioner Blain approved encroachment to allow the water to be piped over road into ditch so water not in barrow pit.
11:00 Maree Baldwin met with Commissioners for the Commissioners’ Secretary interview.
Commissioner DeArmond moved to accept meeting minutes from September 17 and 19, 2019; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Meeting closed to discuss interviews.
Commissioners agreed to conditionally offer the Commissioners’ Secretary position to Barbara Daniel.
