9:00 Civil Deputy Attorney Jacque Papez met with Commissioners. She noted the Burgen’s have filed a motion to dismiss Rieger and Nixon’s appeal and Carbon County et. al. have filed a motion to dismiss Burgen’s amended complaint.

9:25 Brian Roat met with Commissioners to thank them for pursuing a cemetery district for the Red Lodge Cemetery.

9:30 Attorneys are concerned AT&T non-disclosure agreement is too broad and may violate public information provisions in the Montana constitution. The Agreement was not signed.

10:00 Commissioner Grewell moved to award bid and additive alternative for the Red Lodge Creek Bridge to Battle Ridge Builders as the lowest qualified bidder; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

10:05 Sheriff Josh McQuillan met with Commissioners to discuss Community Facilities Direct Loan & Grant Program. The County does not qualify for the grant program because of population and income restrictions; Commissioners are not inclined at this point to borrow money until a significant portion of the construction costs can be saved to a capital improvement fund. Commissioners suggested that the Sheriff’s Office could use the spare office in the Personal Services Building for temporary evidence storage.
