Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Discussed public health contract billing. Commissioners are comfortable with paying 1/12th of the contract amount monthly.
Commissioner Bullock noted for the minutes that he and Commissioner DeArmond met with Bridger Librarian Krystal Zentner last night after the Town Council Meeting. She noted the Library Board has consistently not had a quorum for their quarterly meetings and have been very unproductive. She also noted that minutes are not being recorded for the board.
Commissioner DeArmond moved to approve District Court Fines and Fees Receipts Summary for September 2018; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner DeArmond moved to approve the Treasurer’s Cash Report for September 2018; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner DeArmond moved to approve the Clerk and Recorder’s Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for September 2018; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
10:00 Contract Civil Attorney Jacque Papez met with Commissioners. The meeting was closed to discuss litigation strategy for the Burgen and Industrial Communications cases and a personnel issue. 10:15 Deputy County Attorney Shannon Foley joined meeting. 10:25 the meeting was reopened. Attorneys and Commissioners discussed the Codan contract; Shannon noted the Montana Addendum to the NASPO satisfies the County’s protection concerns. 11:00 Commissioner Blain joined the meeting. Commissioners and attorneys also discussed the easement to the Junk Vehicle grave yard in Bridger.
