Commissioners Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Tesla Palmatier and Angela Getchell from the Red Lodge Area Community Foundation met with Commissioners to invite them to the housing study meetings. They also provided an update on flood recovery efforts and the various partnerships with local faith based and non-profit organizations. Palmatier also noted the Foundation was awarded a child care grant. Funds will be used for startup costs and initial operations for three years; the hope is once the business is established, it can then be turned over to a private company.
Public Health Director Erin Cross met with Commissioners for her monthly update. Cross reviewed her written report (attached). Discussed vaccination clinics at senior centers and working with schools for catchup vaccine clinics.
10:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon met for his regular meeting.

Blain moved to approve the September 8 Commissioners’ Proceedings as corrected; Miller seconded; motion carried.

Bullock moved to approve September claims as presented; Miller seconded; motion carried.

12:00 Board of Health Meeting. Dick Nolan, Stacie Warehime, William Oley, Becky Frank, Erin Cross, Mary Cameron, Tesla Palmatier, Jason Mahoney, Barbara Kingery, Derek Steigmeier, Alex Nixon, and Robert Spoja were present. Warehime moved to approve April 7, 2022 Minutes; Miller seconded; motion carried.
