Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
9:00 Disaster and Emergency Services (DES) Coordinator Cyrina Allen, Public Health Coordinator Erin Cross, and Jason Mahoney met with Commissioners regarding the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) contract. Mahoney noted he is on track to meet 1st quarter deliverables. Blain moved to enter into contract with 373 Consulting pending the finalization of contract language; Miller seconded; motion carried. Discussion about updating Emergency Plan for Points of Dispensing (PODs); discussion about the benefits of keeping Civic Center as the main location vs. the Roosevelt Center which has been used for COVID Vaccinations. Discussion regarding temp help to bridge the gap until staff can be hired.
10:00 Geospatial Information Systems Coordinator / Fire Warden Tom Kohley update. Kohley noted addressing still quite busy. He expressed concerns about Grove Creek developments that are not permitted. Discussed road approach permit management; Kohley willing to take over the permitting oversight. Newell and Commissioners agreed it has some synergies with rural addressing. Discussion regarding fire assignments; Kohley asked if Commissioners had any concerns. Discussed reimbursement and allocating equipment funds for future equipment in Fire Warden / Road Departments.
10:30 Miller moved to approve employee time; Blain seconded; motion carried.
11:00 Safety Committee Meeting. Pam Schwend, Tom Kohley, Jeff Schmalz, Lola Ashby, Tessa Brangers, Nikki Bailey, Cyrina Allen were present. June 8, 2021 minutes were approved.
11:50 Blain moved to approve Resolution 2021-28 Prosecutorial Assistance State vs. Amy Bicker; Miller seconded; motion carried.

12:00 Lunch

1:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon and contract Deputy County Attorney Jacque Papez met with Commissioners to discuss discipline of Allen. Meeting closed.
