COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Scott Blain and Bill Bullock; and Commissioners’ Secretary Barbara Krizek were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

Clerk and Recorder Christine Stovall joined the meeting to discuss her staff member Deputy Clerk and Recorder Crystal Roascio. She noted that an upcoming raise for Roascio was previously approved as part of her FY20-21 budget, but she wanted to formally request the raise today. Commissioner Bullock moved to approve Roascio’s raise on her 2-year employment anniversary date; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.

Airport Board member Gary Herem joined the meeting to discuss the Fair Board’s request that the Airport Board contribute funding towards replacing a mutual fence that is in disrepair; the quote the Fair Board received was $13k and they would appreciate some contribution towards that.

Commissioner Bullock moved to approve Commissioners’ Proceedings for September 1st, 3rd, 8th, and 10th of 2020; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.

Disaster and Emergency Services (DES) Coordinator Tom Kohley joined the meeting to discuss the DES position vacancy and interviews conducted last week. Decision to extend a conditional offer of employment to Cyrina Allen.

9:45 Meeting closed to discuss a personnel issue; 11:35 Meeting re-opened.

11:40 Dave McAusland came in to discuss the access issue at the East Rosebud Lake access.
