COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS       

          September 2, 2015

          Commissioners John Grewell and John Prinkki were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.

          Commissioners met for Preliminary Budget Hearings. No public comment was received.

          9:00 Road Superintendent Shawn Mains met with Commissioners. Requested to allocate $40,000 for Track Hoe and reduce allocation for Truck from $34,000 to $31,000. Commissioners approved the change and authorized Shawn to purchase a Trackhoe for $40,000.

          9:40 Commissioner Doug Tucker joined the meeting.

          10:50 County Attorney Alex Nixon and Deputy County Attorney Jacque Papez met with Commissioners to discuss County business as they will be in District Court tomorrow morning at their scheduled time. They discussed Gordy Blevens’ assertion that the County does not have an easement for the road running through his property that will be part of the West Fork Road Reconstruction project. John Prinkki noted that there is an easement on file. A meeting will be scheduled with Mr. Blevens so that a conclusion may be reached on this issue. Also discussed East Rosebud Road and continued requests for grading. Some of the landowners that have not granted road easements seem to be willing to grant an easement; however one of the needed easements may be complicated by the property being owned by a Trust.
