Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.

Commissioners reviewed preliminary budget and made additional cuts to help pay for the radio system including: $10,000 from metal products and $20,000 from concrete products from the Bridge Fund; $20,000 from the Transportation Equipment line in the Public Safety; and removing the $31,000 Administration Building carpeting project from the General Fund
9:30 Commissioner Bullock moved to approve the Treasurer’s Cash Report for August 2018; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
10:36 Bart Langemeire from the Bank of Red Lodge met with Commissioners to discuss a lease agreement for the radio system. The County will need to borrow about ½ of the system cost of approximately $200,000. Bart noted a three-year lease would have an interest rate of 2.35% and would require semi-annual payments.
Commissioner DeArmond moved to enter into a lease agreement with the Bank of Red Lodge for radio system equipment and installation; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
