COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
September 6, 2018
Commissioners Robert ‘Pits’ DeArmond, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
9:00 Jane Swanson-Webb met with Commissioners regarding enforcement of the County’s Litter Ordinance. Sheriff Josh McQuillan was present. Sheriff McQuillan noted there is an argument between the joint owners of the property near Bearcreek over who is responsible for cleaning it up. He would like the Ordinance revised to include a mechanism to clean up junk if a landowner does not comply. Sheriff McQuillan noted statute allows for a government entity to abate the violation at the owner’s expense. If the cost is not paid it can become a lien on the property. Commissioners would like to start the process of revising the County’s Litter Ordinance to include a provision to remove items at the owner’s expense.
10:40 Commissioner Blain moved to accept the Clerk and Recorders Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for August 2018; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Blain moved to accept the District Court Fines and Fees Receipts Summary for August 2018; Commissioner DeArmond seconded; motion carried.

11:00 Commissioner DeArmond moved to adopt Resolution 2018-14 to adopt the Final Budget for the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
